Poliform Ventura chair and stool
Ventura is a fully upholstered dining chair built around one detail: the joint where the backrest meets the armrests, drawn as a continuous turn rather than a corner. The stool at counter height followed in 2016.

The joint is the design
On most chairs with arms, the back and the arms are separate parts meeting at a seam. On Ventura they turn into each other, which removes the joint visually and makes the upholstery run without interruption from one side to the other. It costs more to make and it is the reason the chair looks like one object.
Fully upholstered means comfort at a table for a long evening, and it also means the cover decides the life of the chair. Leather takes the shape and wipes down; fabric is warmer and should be specified removable in a dining room. We quote both as standard.
The structure underneath uses steel and stainless steel, so the chair stays stable without a heavy visible frame. That is what allows the upholstery to be the whole surface rather than a pad inside a wooden shell.
The stool version from 2016 is aimed at kitchen islands and breakfast bars. Counter height and bar height are different, and we ask for the measurement from floor to underside of the counter before quoting, because a stool two inches wrong is unusable.
The back turns into the armrest, so there is no seam where a corner would be.
