Three characters, one set of feet

The family shares its detail at the bottom: pointed feet that lift the volume clear of the floor. That is what lets a chair this softly upholstered stay light in a room, and it is the reason a Gentleman chair works in a hotel lobby and in a living room without looking like either.

Relax is drawn for rest, with softer lines and a lower attitude. It is the one to put in front of a window, and the pouf from the same family turns it into something close to a chaise without the floor space one would take.

Reserved is the unusual one: a high backrest with buttons that borrows from a cigar lounge. It reads as the most formal piece in the catalog and is the only chair here with an obvious historical reference, which is either exactly what a room needs or exactly what it does not.

Single is the compact version and the one people order in pairs. In 2020 the family grew sideways into the bedroom with bedside tables and dressers in the same language, so a Gentleman chair in the corner of a bedroom no longer stands alone.
