A dining chair built like an armchair

The cushion wraps rather than sits flat, so the chair holds you at the sides as well as underneath. That is normal in a lounge chair and rare at a table, where the convention is a shell and a thin pad. Massaud kept the wooden structure thin around it, which stops the chair from looking like a small armchair pushed up to the table.

It changes how a dining room is used. A table with Leopold chairs keeps people at it after the plates are cleared, which is either exactly what you want or a reason to choose something crisper. For a house that entertains, it is the argument for the family.

The armchair from 2025 takes the same wrapped cushion into a larger frame. Ordered together, the chair at the table and the armchair in the corner of the same room read as one thought; ordered separately, either stands alone.

Wood is the only structural material here, and the finish is the decision that moves the price. Six chairs in a dark stain and six in a pale one are the same money and a different room, and we quote whichever two you are choosing between.
